Billions in Change
Billions in Change is an organization led by Manoj Bhargava, the creator of 5-hour Energy. The organization works to address global issues related to water, energy and health through the development and implementation of new products and technologies. The innovations promoted by Billions in Change are created by Stage 2 Innovations, an invention shop co-founded by Bhargava and former Chrysler CEO, Tom LaSorda in 2011.〔

The movement began in September 2015 with the release of the trailer for ''Billions in Change'', a documentary that premiered in October 2015. The film follows Manoj Bhargava, the founder of 5-hour Energy, and his team of inventors, scientists and engineers at Stage 2 Innovations as they develop products intended to solve some of the world's problems in the power, water and health sectors.
Bhargava founded Billions in Change as a reflection of his belief that philanthropy is best done by finding and supporting solutions to the world's problems, rather than giving strictly to charities. Bhargava and his family have signed The Giving Pledge, a pledge made by wealthy individuals and their families to give away most of their wealth. Bhargava has committed to spending 99 percent of his wealth on philanthropic causes. In addition to funding Stage 2 Innovations, Bhargava has made donations to hospitals in India.
Through the work at Stage 2 Innovations, Billions in Change aims to assist global areas of need in matters concerning clean energy creation, access to fresh water and healthcare.
